Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work for getstayz, the operating system that paying-guest (PG) and co-living operators in India use to run their properties. It applies to subscription charges you pay to getstayz — not to rent or deposits that residents pay to you through the platform.

Alpha Billing

During the alpha, getstayz is billed at ₹49 per bed per month, based on the number of beds you manage. Charges are recurring and are calculated for each monthly billing period. Because the alpha is priced simply and month to month, there is no setup fee and no long-term commitment.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged for the next period. Cancellation does not automatically delete your data — you can request an export before your account is closed.

Refund Eligibility

Monthly subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, since you retain access to the service for that period. We will, however, consider a refund in these cases:

• You were charged in error, such as a duplicate charge or a charge after a confirmed cancellation.
• You were billed for beds you did not manage during the period, due to a platform error on our side.
• A prolonged outage attributable to getstayz prevented you from using the service for a significant part of the billing period.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. We do not offer partial refunds simply for unused time within a period you chose to keep the service active.

How to Request

To request a refund, contact us through the contact page on this site within 14 days of the charge. Include your account details, the charge in question, and the reason for the request. We aim to review requests promptly, and approved refunds are typically processed within 7 to 10 business days, though the time to appear on your statement depends on your payment provider.
